  1. my Mac has always been a pain. Having to open the control
  2. panels folder, double click on the Sound control panel, and
  3. then wait while it loads up. To make matters worse, some
  4. programs (OK, games) hide the menubar, and so you cant
  5. change the volume at all without quitting the program. To
  6. make it easier changing the volume (and to keep my sanity),
  7. Volume FKEY was born. An FKEY is a small program that is
  8. available for use virtually all the time. To invoke it, all
  9. you do is press command, shift and a number key at the same
